Bristol Miniday 2003
Another great day out for the Mini owners and enthusiasts. This was our third year at Woodhouse Park and it was good to see everyone making use of the on-site facilities at this lovely place.
The clubs camped out on Saturday and enjoyed the sunshine and chilled out. Sunday the show opened to the public and everyone took part, or encouraged the Bonds and Bond Girls in all the activities, Golden Eye Archery, Golden Gun Shooting, ejector seat driving skills etc. We kept everyone busy with other competitions and certainly the kids enjoyed the obstacle course, adventure playground, climbing wall etc.
In the Show and Shine, we probably had record numbers of entrants and Six Ex were calling for more space. They did a brilliant job of organising and administering the Show and Shine and had a very hard job judging the selection of wonderful cars on show. The traders turned out in full - and so did the bargain hunters!
Once again, the Mod Scooter Club joined in the fun and cruised out with the Minis at 4.00. Len from Six-Ex, who organised the cruise, was thrilled with the number of Minis who made it in force to the SS Great Britain.
We've had some lovely emails from folks saying how much they enjoyed the show. It's always good to get feedback (even if it's not good) as we try each year to make the show more interesting and fun for all the show goers. You all joined in famously and we had such fun looking at all the Bonds and Bond Girls.
Sorry you've had to wait for the photos - I decided to update the whole site rather than just add this year's stuff - hope you like it.
SEE YOU SUNDAY 6TH JUNE 2004 FOR THE BEACH PARTY 45
THANK
YOU TO YOU ALL
