We had a record number of visiting clubs this year - no less than 35 visited from far and wide.
As always the club stands were as inventive and great fun as ever, with a lot of hard work going into the presentation: As for the games, they were as always great to watch everyones enthusiasm is as ever contagious.
The Best racing hat competion had 2 parts to it. Jesters showed all the
imagination the clubs can muster (and their were some fabulous hats) the second part was a Candy Floss eating competion. Dressed in their finery and stuffing down candy floss as fast as possible - the contestants (and spectators) were in for a treat. One contestant in particular (we won't name names but she is in receipt of her bus pass) from Dragon MOC was at her first ever Mini event and threw hereself into the proceedings with great gusto and was absolutely brilliant fun.
The mini push was as popular as ever with crowds cheering them on. You all rose to the challange of the rubber bad powered mini - there were some great models made but in this event, The Mob left the rest behind.
So well done to all the clubs that took part. This year Swansea were the
champs with Somerset a close second.... Ah but what will happen next year? It's all to play for.....
